Mood Media Corporation is pleased to announce that its subsidiary BIS – a European leader in audio-visual, video and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) integration – was named the “Most Innovative Company 2015” in the Netherlands by the National Institute of Business Success (NIBS).

The NIBS is an organization with a membership comprising entrepreneurial, accomplished businesses that have a mutual stake in furthering each member’s success. To be nominated for its annual awards program, a company must have a vision of success and a distinctive position in their market. The “Most Innovative Company – 2015” is one of four special awards granted to a company that has demonstrated “extraordinary results” over the calendar year by an independent jury.

Mood’s BIS organization specializes in the design and implementation of AV and ICT solutions, conference systems, digital signage (narrowcasting) and room management. The services that BIS provides focus on the transfer of information using audio-visual solutions, videoconferencing, narrowcasting and ICT development. In its approach, BIS focuses fully on the user, the application that the user envisions, and the application that best supports the project objectives.

The awards panel praised BIS for the level of innovation demonstrated across all of the services it provides. Panel judge and Professor of Financial Economics Sylvester Eijffinger commended BIS’s “bricks, bytes & behaviour” philosophy. BIS realizes that approach through audio-visual solutions characterized by innovative components in the office environment (bricks), hardware and software (bytes), and user behavior.

In accepting the award, CEO of BIS Jean Pierre Overbeek said, “It’s extraordinary that we are receiving this recognition in a country that’s known for its knowledge economy and power of innovation. It’s a wonderful boost and the icing on the cake for a fantastic team performance. In our philosophy, we combine strong client focus with innovation, knowledge, drive and service.”

In 2015, BIS equipped nearly 5,000 rooms with audio-visual solutions, meeting the demands of various industries including local authorities, leaders in the chemical industry and hospitals. BIS is a consulting partner during the decision-making process and provides clients with advice on how to achieve the best solution. This approach ensures innovation, functionality, quality, reliability and user convenience.
