Having served the business for more than 14 years Steve is proud to lead Mood Media Australia to develop and deliver Mood’s integrated solutions to more than 500,000 customers globally. Steve joined Mood Media in 2001 as Finance Director and has enjoyed operational and sales functions in the organisation culminating in the position to MD in 2012.
Prior to his tenure at Mood, Steve has worked in Finance Director roles for Asia Online here in Australia and BASF in the UK. He also held senior finance roles for Micro Warehouse, a Nasdaq listed operation that was highly acquisitive in Europe in the mid-nineties.
Steve holds an honors degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics from the University of Sheffield and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of England and Wales in 1992.
As the Operations Director for Mood Media Australia, Tim’s core strength is taking complex situations and applying common sense solutions to deliver positive experiences for clients and their customers, whilst ensuring that internal operations run smoothly and effectively to enable the delivery of these experiences.
Stephen joined Mood Media Australia in January 2016 as the IT Manager, and is responsible for the end-to-end operations of all internal IT systems and customer service platforms. His role also involves assisting customers to integrate Mood Media solutions into their IT environments.
Stephen studied at the University of Technology Sydney where he completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing with Honours.
His career to date spans over 20 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, operations and service delivery management in the regulated Australian insurance industry, and has supported and developed IT operations for numerous local and overseas corporations.
Mohini is the Finance Manager for Mood Media Australia and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Finance team. Her key responsibilities are to generate monthly and quarterly financials, business KPIs, monitor cash and general ledger reconciliation. With the playing of commercial music, licensing reporting is also an integral part of this role.
Starting her career with Ernst & Young Chartered Accounting in Fiji before moving to Australia, she then completed Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. With a wide range of accounting experience at Tower Insurance and Horticulture Innovation Australia, Mohini has brought exceptional professional knowledge to the team at Mood for the last 12 years.
CREATIVE DEPARTMENT MANAGER
As the Creative Department Manager for Mood Australia, Mike manages the entire process from receiving songs from record companies and artists, through to programming, messaging and then production of updates.
With a Bachelor of Creative Technology (Audio Engineering and Sound Production), Mike started off playing in bands and recording local Sydney artists. In 2010, Mike joined Mood as Message Coordinator and has worked his way up to Manager of the Creative Department.
Mark manages the Accounts of all our major clients within Victoria, South & Western Australia and Tasmania. Having started with Mood Media working on the acquisition of new relationships, Mark now partners with our major clients, supporting the growth of their in store customer experience.
Melbourne has been Marks home since 2011, prior to that London where along the journey he has over 10 years’ experience within service and solution sales.
Mark is a dedicated football fan (soccer to some) and at the weekends he is most likely to be found watching as much football as he can get away with.
Aisling Smith Vance
Aisling joined Mood Media Australia in July 2017 as an Account Manager working within our Melbourne team. Aisling has worked in a Retail or Hospitality capacity for over 16 years and has been lucky enough to work for companies in Dublin, New York, Shanghai, London and Melbourne.
With a family background in retail and early beginnings in Promotions and Sales, Aisling swiftly progressed into Brand Management and FMCG Marketing.
The diversity and education from working within these fields and various countries has made Aisling a much more rounded professional, and has attributed to her global knowledge of advertising and branding.
Aisling has an infectious enthusiasm and warm personality which will attribute to engaging with current key accounts while also seeking to assist new partners and organizations looking to add more revenue to their existing businesses.
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
As the Senior Account Manager, Lindsay manages the key accounts throughout NSW and Queensland.
Lindsay has been in the services industry for over 21 years across a wide variety of products and previously worked with Dell Computers and ANZ Bank before joining Mood in 2013.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
As BDM for Mood NSW Barry develops and maintains relationships with key contacts and identifies gaps and niches that represent new business opportunities.
Barry grew up on island resorts, caught his first fish before the age of 2 and burst his eardrum spear fishing by 7. Taking tourists swimming with sharks and hitting a large turtle whilst windsurfing in the dark were an early part of life.
From an entrepreneurial family, he ran their water blasting business at 15 and started his own business at 19, developing the countries first surf wear brand over the course of 7 years. This started his love of branding and he moved to Australia to further his career, two decades ago.
Barry has owned two businesses and has had roles as Project Manager, IT Manager, Marketing Manager and General Manager. With an entrepreneurial mind-set he is always intrigued by new branding challenges.
If you are wanting to create a brand, store experience, or get a step up on competition, Barry is a good weapon to add to your arsenal to get what you want created and put in place promptly.
As an Account Manager, Rhys is responsible for managing and consulting with many of Mood’s clients primarily within NSW. Rhys has worked for Mood Media for the last 6 years and prior to this worked within the Audio and Music Industry. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music Production & Management.
Hannah joined Mood Media Australia in 2015 as the Marketing Manager and is responsible for all marketing, advertising and PR activities. With a Masters in Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University, Hannah started her career working for retailer N. Peal in London. She then went on to manage a key retail account for London-based agency Publicis before relocating to Sydney a few years ago. Hannah has a passion for great design, be it work, rest or play. She also loves a decent cup of Yorkshire tea.
Blake joined us in June 2017 as our product champion providing technical support for all of Mood’s audio and visual solutions. He is a passionate, highly motivated and results-driven Technical Account Manager / Project Manager with a proven track record of scoping, design, installation and delivery of complex Audio Visual and infrastructure solutions.
With a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions and as an innovative thinker, Blake is heavily involved in the consultation process, solutions design and implementation for Mood’s client projects.
HEAD OF PLAYLIST CURATION & BRAND MUSIC CONSULTANT
Raymond is a senior playlist curator here at Mood Media Australia, with over 30 years of experience in the music industry working with major record labels as a producer and songwriter. Raymond’s passion is keeping up to date with the latest music trends and technologies – passing on his knowledge to a portfolio of clients in a consultancy capacity and then developing relationships with these clients across many industry sectors.
